Midterm Check-In
It's already the end of the first unit and time for our first Anchor Test. Just to catch everyone up to speed, the Homework Book should be completed through page 22. The Anchor is Thursday, September 29th -- There is a review packet due the day of the Anchor and Lab Notebooks will also be collected and graded on Thursday. Friday there will be a Performance Assessment on scientific design, then Monday we will start a new unit on the human body.
Remember that at the end of each day, the daily class assignments, notes, and textbook pages are posted on Moodle. To login, go to http://www.ohlsd.org, click on the "Moodle" button, and sign in using your Student ID and password. You can find all of your make-up work here or use the information to finish anything you didn't finish in class.

ePortfolios
Each middle school student will make an ePortfolio this year on Google Sites.
The ePortfolio is a chance for students to reflect on big projects and learning experiences in their core classes. They can see what they've learned, how they've grown, and show off what they know.
